The Community Thanksgiving Dinner was a collaboration of service providers from South Los Angeles to provide free Thanksgiving dinners to the community as well as provide information for vocational, housing, substance abuse and mental services available to underserved families throughout the city.

 

As the Lead Graphic Designer on the project, the graphics, typography, and photographs used had to be malleable enough to be used on flyers, posters, t-shirts, and all subsequent marketing collateral, convey the feeling of autumn, an open-family friendly vibe as well as highlight two main speakers of the event, Mayor Villaraigosa and Congresswoman Karen Bass.
