These are samples of the web sites and presences that I have developed over the years. Each website was constructed based on the needs of the individual client and was made utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Dreamweaver as well as 3rd party CMS systems in addition to CSS/HTML coding.
ELEMENTS REAL ESTATE
Elements is a one-of-a-kind real estate boutique that provides comprehensive and creative solutions in real estate sales, remodeling and interior design. This was a website that I redesigned to help freshen their brand increase leads. It was chosen to be a finalist in the WIX STUNNING AWARDS.
The El Segundo based FAIR program offers distressed homeowners a myriad of options to help them regain stability, independence and financial freedom. This was a redesign presented to help expand their brand, increase leads, and assist in their recruitment efforts.
The following landing pages were designed to promote individual properties that were put on the market and helped to increase each properties market value.
Winners Sankofa Intervention's curriculum intersperses African history, culture, and traditions to give youth building blocks needed to grow into independent, self-sufficient adults. The site was built using an African color palette, stock photography focusing on African American youth and a custom made stylized Sankofa for a logo.
CALIFORNIA FLOOR COVERING
The father and son duo of California Floor Covering has been providing quality floor covering solutions at affordable prices for thirty years. Their website is an online portfolio of the services they provide and a gallery of the work they have done. The minimalist theme was constructed to coincide with the palette of their in-house designed logo with the front page stock video and before and after gallery adding movement to the project.
CRAFT + LIGHT
Craft + Light is a creative arts venue located in Long Beach the provides art classes and workshops to the community. The website was constructed to be an eclectic mix of colors, textures and patterns to reflect the more artistic aspects of the company while keeping the verbiage minimalist and streamline to maintain optimum readability.
The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) is a non-profit organization that has addressed issues affecting the lives of African American women for over 80 years. The website was constructed to refresh it's branding and encourage a younger demographic to participate in it's programs and services.
The Transformation Journal is a specialized tool to help transform the body, soul, and spirit. The site maintains the cool color palette of the company's logo and uses manipulated stock photography, video and icons to further market the idea of physical and spiritual well being.
Legendary comedian and actress Marsha Warfield is best known as her role as the wise cracking bailiff Roz from the long running NBC sitcom Night Court. Her revamped website shows her growth as a woman and an artist that far supersedes the 80's hair and bailiff costume. I chose an Art Deco "Great Gatsby" theme to coincide with her current "Upper Ghetto" marketing efforts.
L.A. Based comedian/photographer Andre LaVelle wanted a website that can further his "Grey Fox" brand. To further the theme the website was created in hues of grey and prominently featured his Grey Fox logo.
DALE GUY MADISON
Dale Guy Madison is a Los Angeles based actor, speaker, author, and artist. With his original website constructed over a decade ago, we collaborated to give his online presence a much needed revamp. While reconfiguring his vast amount of work in a more organized and user-friendly portfolio, we maintained the more quirky aspects of his work including his penchant for all things leopard.
MY DEAD SELFIE
"My Dead Selfie" is an independent supernatural horror film on race. I worked with filmmaker Joy Shannon to create a website that reflected the dark and horrific atmosphere as presented in the film.
Organa Kannalytics presents an annual Atlanta based Hemp & Medical Cannabis convention that focuses on technological, educational, and medicinal breakthroughs in the cannabis industry. Their website redesign included adopting a green toned color palette, user friendly navigation, cannabis and nature inclined stock photography and mobile responsiveness.
Afrolicious is an annual natural hair expo that celebrates, educates and demonstrates everything natural hair. The site had to stringently organize and display in the simplest manner a plethora of information regarding expo's itinerary, location and speakers for each city that it visits as well as integrating MailChimp for all of the expos mailing lists and applications.
An online portfolio of creative writing, journalism and on-air correspondent work constructed for Los Angeles based author Breeze Vincinz in vibrant and exciting tones that match both the work and personality while still maintaining a level of professionalism.
THE COMEDY BLAST
The Comedy Blast - Drôle et érotique is a throwback to the era of Burlesque, a comedy show with dance, audience participation and a little flash of skin.The Comedy Blast wanted an overhaul of their brand so I assisted in providing them a new logo and new web presence that better identified their themes of provocative fun.
Los Angeles-based open-mic spoken word beatnik artist space PoetsJazzHouse has been a mainstay in the underground poetry scene for over a decade. The relaunch of the website includes a mixture of vintage rustic urban rustic elements that highlight the lo-fi atmosphere of it's events.
Upfront Productions is an award-winning LA-based full-service creative agency specializing in video production, photography, internet services, clip licensing and video editing. I worked with filmmaker Keith O'Derek to rebrand his online presence and present an online portfolio of his work
HEETIZM URBAN BEAR WEEKEND
Heetizm is a nonprofit that produces events that provide safe spaces for members of the LGBT community to dialogue, commonwealth and show their pride. For their current event cycle, I collaborated with them to give the website a nautical theme to go parallel with their upcoming cruise that will highlight the events next summer.
